Enjoy sweet taste of 3D printed confectionary in UK by next year

3D printed sweets should be available to UK consumers by early next year.

Confectioner Katjes Fassin UK says its 'Magic Candy Factory' machine can print a sweet weighing between 15g and 20g in around five minutes.

The machine will allow customers to choose from 20 designs of sweet and a range of different flavours and colours. They will also be able to print personalised greetings on gummy cards.

The concept was recently trialled with consumers in Germany and the company plans to make the Magic Candy Factory available to UK customers through online, retail and leisure outlets.

All Magic Candy Factory sweets are vegan and free from gluten and dairy, using only natural vegetable and fruit extracts.
