Discount supermarket chain Aldi has launched its first Fairtrade certified T-shirt range.
The collection of men's and women's cotton T-shirts went on sale in stores on March 3, priced £3.99 each.
The launch is part of Aldi's wider policy of sustainable business development. Last year it promised to ban all dangerous chemicals from its shoe and textile production by 2020 and it is also driving for at least 80 percent of its suppliers to disclose waste water data by the end of this month.
