While many of us are still looking forward to summer, Selfridges is already preparing for the Christmas rush.
The department store has officially opened its Christmas shop – with 143 shopping days still to go before the big day.
A whopping 3,000 square feet of the fourth floor of Selfridges flagship Oxford Street store has been converted into a winter wonderland, complete with festive baubles and, of course, Santa Claus himself.
Phase two of the Christmas preparations will be unveiled in the autumn and will see the Christmas shop double in size to 6,000 square feet.
Selfridges said it started Christmas early to target tourists visiting the store as part of their summer holidays.
