Homeware retailer Dunelm has announced a 3.5 percent like for like sales growth in the final quarter of the year.
The growth was in no small part due to a 43 percent increase in shoppers using its home delivery service, but was also boosted by the company's summer sale.
The retailer saw total sales grow to £822.7 million, an increase of 12.7 percent. It is expecting pre-tax profits of between £119 and £123 million, compared to £116 million the previous year.
Against this backdrop of improving sales, Dunelm has appointed a new chief finance officer. Currently bus and train operator Go-Ahead's Chief Finance Officer, Keith Down will join the company in December, replacing David Stead.
Dunelm opened four new superstores in quarter four, taking its total number of stores to 148.
