Iceland has hired two chefs who previously worked with Heston Blumenthal to produce its new 'Power of Frozen' range.
The recruitment of David Lennox and Neil Nugent is widely seen as a move to drive Iceland upmarket and establish it as a purveyor of quality products.
Lennox and Nugent worked together on the Waitrose Blumenthal and Delia Smith ranges. At Iceland, Nugent will take the role of Head of Product Development, while Lennox will be titled Development Chef.
