Discount giant Poundland is to expand its product offering to include items priced at more than a pound.
The retailer announced it will be adding footwear and apparel from new owner Steinhoff's Pep & Co brand to its product range.
Poundland was recently acquired by South African owner Steinhoff after a difficult and drawn out take over process.
Last month, it was reported that 80 of Poundland's 900 stores nationwide would close. However, Steinhoff has made no comment on the rumours.
