Interim results posted by Card Factory have shown an increase in both revenue and profit during the first half of the year.
Revenues rose by eight percent during the period, during which Card Factory opened 36 new stores.
Further growth is planned, with 50 more stores due to open this year. This would increase the retailer's total estate to 850.
The company's online performance is also on the up, with its Getting Personal brand seeing revenues rise by 24.9 percent to £6.9million.
