Fast growing discount supermarket chain Aldi is to expand its online offering to include its 'Specialbuys' range of products.
A relative latecomer to e-commerce, Aldi only launched its first online wine store in the UK earlier this year.
But with its website now attracting around a million users each week, the German chain has decided to offer its online customers two 'Specialbuy' deals twice a week selected from its range of home and garden, electrical, sport and outdoor, DIY and clothing products.
The development is bad news for the Big Four supermarkets, who continue to struggle to compete with Aldi and its fellow discounter Lidl.
