Ecommerce giant Amazon has topped a customer satisfaction survey for the sixth year running.
Based on the view of 10,000 consumers, who rate organisations on 30 measures of customer satisfaction - such as efficiency of service, dealing with complaints and professionalism - the Institute of Customer Services (ICS) study found John Lewis was the next highest scoring organisation.
It was followed by Next and the Yorkshire Bank in joint third position, with First Direct and the Nationwide Building Society joint fifth, then Tesco Mobile in seventh place, M&S Bank and Wilko in joint eight position. Iceland came next - the only grocer to make it into the top ten.
