A year after a fire at its main distribution warehouse cost ASOS an estimated £30 million in lost sales, the online fashion retailer's fortunes are on the up.
Sales for the year ending August 31st were up from 975.5 million to £1.15 billion, a rise of 18 percent, while pre-tax profits increased one percent from £46.9 million to £47.5 million.
In the UK alone, sales showed a 27 percent increase, while internationally they rose by 11 percent.
ASOS attracted 89.9 million site visits a month, with 9.9 million customers defined as 'active’.
The news boosted share prices, which went up to £30.12 on October 20, a rise of 2.9 percent.
