A new report has named House of Fraser the best multichannel retailer in the UK.
The annual Multichannel Retail Report ranks a total of 187 high street retailers who also sell online.
The retailers are judged on their performance against a range of core multichannel selling criteria, including customer experience, use of technology and delivery.
House of Fraser finished in pole position, with Schuh, Argos, B&Q, Screwfix, Karen Millen, M&S, Superdry, Coast and Warehouse also among the top 10.
F.Hinds, Mamas & Papas, Dior and Richer Sounds were judged the most improved multichannel retailers in 2017.
While many brands had made great strides in developing their multichannel retail offerings, the report found there was still considerable room for improvement.
It found 44 percent of retailers lack transparency when it comes to accepted online payment types, not showing customers what methods they can use until the basket page, while 22 percent do not offer shoppers the chance to add items to their cart on one device and access it later using another device.
The report found 19 percent of retailers also fail to offer customers next day delivery, an option which a YouGov survey this year found was desired by 52 percent of consumers.
