John Lewis customers are being offered the chance to 'try before they buy' through a new sleepover experience in selected stores.
'The Residence' customer experience campaign kicked off over the weekend of September 16-17 in John Lewis branches on London's Oxford Street, in Cambridge and Liverpool.
The Residence offers shoppers the chance to stay overnight and host private brunch and dining experiences in a specially built apartment setting, fully furnished with John Lewis products which are available to buy.
The apartments' cupboards and wardrobes will contain autumn 2017 products from the store's fashion, home and technology departments. It will also have a living and dining area and, of course, a bedroom.
In addition, the Oxford Street flagship has a fitted kitchen, study and indoor terrace looking out over Cavendish Square.
Customers can apply to stay in The Residence apartment, and those who are successfully in their applications can look forward to having a daily newspaper delivery and a breakfast basket, fresh coffee and radio sound effects.
They will also be able to tour the entire store after closing time and will have the option of an hour with a personal shopper. They can also have access all areas tours of the flagship premises.
