A campaign by Morrisons to find more British food producers to supply its stores has led to the grocer being "inundated".
Over 500 independent food producers have so far signed up to Morrisons' nationwide search in the two weeks since it was launched.
Many showcased their wares at a Morrisons roadshow in Yorkshire, the first of 11 planned regional events.
Cheeses, pork, milk, craft gins, natural fruit vinegars and gluten free pies and pasties were among the goods brought along by producers hoping to be added to the list of Morrison's British suppliers.
Morrisons is aiming to add 200 new British food producers to its supplier list this year alone.
It decided to go on the road to source new producers after a recent report revealed Britain is heavily dependent on foreign food suppliers, exporting £18 billion worth of food each year, but importing £39 billion worth of products.
