When it comes to Christmas, famous department store Selfridges' clearly believes you cannot have too much of a good thing.
With 147 days still to go before the big day, Selfridges' has officially opened its dedicated Christmas shop; the first department store in the world to do so.
The fourth floor of the retailers' London flagship Oxford Street store has been turned into a Christmas wonderland, complete with fake fir trees, fairy lights and decorations, including corgi and union flag baubles - a snip at £50 each.
Selfridges, which also has branches in Manchester and Birmingham, will begin selling festive food on Friday, August 4.
At its peak, Selfridges' Christmas shops will stock 130,000 festive products. These will include 51,000 baubles, 80 different varieties of Christmas cracker and 65 light and tree options.
