The UK's online grocery market is now the third largest in the world, a new report has shown.
Data released by Kantar Worldpanel shows the UK has a 6.9 percent share in the global online grocery market, compared to South Korea at 16.6 percent and Japan at 7.2 percent.
France comes fourth, with 5.3 percent market share, followed by Taiwan (5.2 percent) and China (4.2 percent). The Czech Republic takes seventh place with 2.1 percent of the market, followed by Spain (1.7 percent), The Netherlands (1.7 percent) and the USA (1.4 percent).
The global online grocery market has grown by 15 percent in the last 12 months to reach £36.87 billion.
