Japanese retailer Uniqlo has taken 'fast fashion' to a new level with the introduction of vending machines that sell its products.
Uniqlo, currently the world's third largest fashion retailer behind Zara and H&M, will locate ten vending machines at airports and shopping centres in major US cities over the next couple of months. The first 'Uniqlo to Go' machine is already up and running at Oakland International Airport, California.
The machines are understood to be selling lightweight down jackets and shirts, with items dispensed in cans and boxes.
It is not known whether Uniqlo has any plans to introduce the machines to the UK.
